((The CD with Moontan and Switch is from Russia, has no number and is probably illegal – but nice.))

RJS still felt in the role of a session musician for this production. He was asked to join the band 10 days before the US tour. All his contributions were overdubs in December (and maybe September).

Mixed in January at the IBC Studio, London.

((US Tour : 27th Sept – 5th Nov. (Moontan album promotion tour) / UK Tour: 12th Nov. – 3rd Dec.))

Notes: Song A listed as "Ce Soir" on label. (My single has no cover, but the Earring site helps out: "Ce Soir"). Edit of LP version.

Notes: Recorded during the 1974 Switch sessions? BB said that all songs were recorded in 1974. Thought of as demos to get a record contract, which he did with the Sweet d’Buster project. But after the split in 1980, Ariola released the demos as his new solo LP!

1974 indicates that these demos were recorded in 1974. But there are some hints that at least this song was recorded in early 1975. (“Soon after the recording BB went along with GE on another US tour” (3rd April – 9th June 1975!).

All songs released on a +bootleg DoCD New York 1975 (?). (Buffalo and Saratoga are part of the state New York.) (Songs 1-5 on CD 1: Looks similar to Entry 5063!).

YouTube site: Songs 2-5. Audio sound only. With a photo of a bootleg (?) cover: Live New York.

YouTube site: Songs 6-8, 10, 11. Audio sound only. Listed as a recording from NY, but the bootleg (?) is different: Don Kirschner (sic) Saturdaynight Show 1974 and Record Plant NYC 1975 ((which is wrong, because there are two Record Plant Studios and on the 25th and 26th April, they were in California! See Entry 5063.).

(A4 Chase The Shadows Away) ((B2 Face The Music)) (both: DL, EdT)

Notes: With RJS?? There are some synth-alike-sounds on 2 tracks, but I think that Dany Lademacher played them on his guitar.

Fact is, that, in 1981, RJS was on tour with this band. Fact is, that, in 1981, RJS released his U.P. LP with Dany on g and bg. Fact is, that no keyboard player is mentioned in the sleeve notes.

After studying cover and label, it’s not clear for me whether “Lademachers’ (sic) Innersleeve is the name of the band or the title of the record.

The band: Dany Lademacher: g; Emile den Tex: voc; Jaap van der Sluys: bg; Roger Wollaert: dr. (Live with Ken Spence: sax (no sax on the LP); Harry Hardholt: g (all guitars on the record by DL).

(There’s a rumour about a release of a live recording of a song called Stay With Me in 1981. Or is that a different title of the record??)

((Single Where Are The Girls/Bitter Tears (both: DL, EdT) (Ariola 102878, 1981) without RJS. And a single from 1995 without RJS too.))

5148 Nov. '81: RJS “joined” The Nits. Alex Roelofs (bg) left the band before the start of the Work tour. It was an obvious decision to ask RJS if he could play synth bass (and …) for a while and the band had time to look for a new bass player. But RJS helped a lot in creating the new Nits sound. So everybody was happy when he became a full member before the start of the Omsk sessions (in late 1982).
